Starsky Stalked by his Own Webmaster?

When I read and heard this NEWS, I found it difficult to believe because I know the alleged stalker. Well, not really perhaps. Thinking back, when I first joined her group I thought it was a group of pseudo-intellectual people who were too involved with Paul Michael Glaser's blog --although I thought, some misinterpreted what he means. Nevertheless, I would drop in about once a day to post something 'shallow'. Frankly, I thought a bit later that everyone was trying to 'impress' Paul Michael Glaser with mega-long posts and the most egoistic debates. Thus, there was one nice person, Christine, whom I called 'innocent' -- meaning that she was the least malicious among those. I was disappointed, Christine hardly understood what I meant and I was kicked out by this webmaster for actually giving a simple comment that was weirdly misinterpreted. It made me mad, but I forgot about it after a day.

Months later, I got an email from Glaser's webmaster that seemed sweet. 'How are you?'. Being me, I said 'fine' and sent her a you tube video. I don't talk much when I feel uncertain, instead i send videos. Thus, she became my Facebook friend and I'd still do that, send videos, until it seemed that she was alright. In short we became Facebook friends and we'd exchange private messages, usually humorous comments, greetings or videos. Ah.. okay, she's fine, I thought and re-joined her group. I thought, dang.. I was so wrong about her because she would pm me when I said something 'shallow' in Glaser's discussion group. I felt that I was so wrong that I even found a way to secretly send her a little something as a token of peace.

I was angry when the news came out. I frankly thought that this actor was paranoid or too overly particular about his privacy. I thought what sort of celebrity doesn't know that there is a price to pay for fame. I also did not think that my 'friend' would stalk anyone who is 68 years old and jested by chiding her 'why didn't you stalk Owen Wilson instead?'. She wrote me the most depressing private messages at Facebook usually about how she tried to love and do everything for him and his fans (which was true) and sometimes, usually, I'd right back 'forget it.. who cares? No one knows how you look like.. Go have lunch in some restaurant and tell me if anyone would recognize you! '. Then she would reply that she feels she is hurting and 'everybody hates me and even God cannot help me.'. I listened. I felt she was too depressed and could actually hurt herself. PM's got a bit more angry later. She would question me about my other friends and I would say I have no control about what they think or say.

It got weirder. She claimed she saw Glaser with a TMZ reporter in a car on a certain date (Tuesday). She asked me to look over all TMZ reporters which I did, so she could identify 'whoever' and get her story straight.I couldn't ask, 'if he were to come out with some stalker news, why would he pick you? '. There are sexier younger girls who'd love to have some 15 minutes of fame and who are better copy. Besides, what sort of celebrity would ask a judge for an RO against a sane webmaster whose services he would obviously need? On the other hand, I still thought this guy could be paranoid. Yet my 'friend' refused to comment when I said ' You know, I don't know if you know this but when you get an RO, you have to take that seriously. It's kind of difficult to be visiting you in jail because I am 10,000 miles away.....'. She had no humor. Instead she told me 'he knew I was transferring to Venice 6 months ago! He is not telling the truth and he is breaking my heart.. blah blah blah... !!'. I told her stories of the beach in a tropical island and actually invited her to get OFF her place and she was completely unresponsive. Then she told me that she locked the administrative privileges of her celebrity but that he could post on his site. That was when I suggested that she simply let go of the celebrity's site when Glaser wrote that the site was no longer his official website. Next, she mad at me for suggesting GIVE IT UP, because I couldn't say 'you've just been fired!'. She replied that she worked for 11 years for that site,which was true and she was not giving it up but 'Paul can post and no one is stopping him'. When I called her a fan in one of my posts, she said that she was NOT a fan (uh.. okay, she was a friend after all, I guess). I kept thinking how did she even know that there was one Tuesday when Paul Glaser rode with some reporter if she wasn't watching him? When I thought about that, I found it creepy. She claimed that the news was all untrue but she told me she wanted to go to some L.A Book Fest... so I said, ' then go as long as he isn't there...no one is stopping you'. Telling her to be logical, I also did say that she better have a lawyer if she intends on following this actor. She repeatedly said that her heart was too broken and that she worked very hard for him (which may be true) and all she got in return was the heartbreak. I told her that if she feels aggrieved she can get a lawyer and sue him and get over with it. Then she claimed that she worked even for this celebrity's book project and felt that all her work had come to naught.

That was the POINT when I started to believe that there was something awfully wrong with this 'friend' of mine. I HAD to ask her about the 500 emails, which was frankly was 'normal' because it could have been business related. THERE, she agreed, but was suddenly angry when I told her 'hey, is it true that you attended 23 times? what about that? ' I jested, ' well, maybe you were just playing mom.. 5 emails a week . I guess if he played Little League you'd be there too'. I decided on humor because she was getting extremely melancholy.

Her moods seem to swing from being bossy, to angry to 'loving' and then suddenly 'disliking' (then loving) the celebrity with passion, yet always saying that she cared for him and his fans. Anyway in the END, here I am typing this 10,000 miles away, and I am supposed to have DONE something "mean" to grab her job while on a tropical beach?

So Paul Michael Glaser, since you are probably reading me because I am SO SO IMPORTANT, I am sending you my kisses (OK? THAT SETTLES IT !) Do I believe she was capable of terrorizing and stalking? Yes.

COULD IT BE A PR THING? NO!
