Secret and Not-So-Secret Facial Skin Tips That Work Immediately

The skin matters because it's the biggest organ (if I may call that) in the body. Aside from that, it's what it is that most represents YOU. Like it or not, we are in an age where great facial skin tone counts a LOT. We hope that people look into our "souls" but they can't see that, they look at our faces instead. Besides, whatever is on our face reflects the soul. If we have peace inside and we're happy, our face seems to glow and our skin tone seems to look better than "usual". Though peace of mind certainly is a great "facial solution" there are a few frugal "tips" we can give you to make your face look better, cleaner and younger. People decide to like or ignore us initially based on how we look - let's not delude ourselves and accept that fact. "Inner beauty" is indeed more important, but a first time stranger will not TRY to discover your "inner beauty" without at least, liking what you look like.

For people who need to have smaller pores and baby smooth skin, there's one frugal secret I wish to share with you. It's the "aspirin facial" and it works. Wash your face with hot water to open the pores , make sure it's super clean. Get your aspirin (one or two will do); grind it and mix it with water to make a solution or a paste. Apply to facial skin and keep it there for about thirty minutes and wash off with cold water to close the pores.This also works for pimple scars and eye bags and results are noticed immediately after this "treatment". Some people with oily skin add lemon to this treatment while some add Olive Oil. It doesn't matter however, because that can be added later (depending on your skin type and needs).

What about very dry skin? Of course one should always moisturize. These days, people should use moisturizers when they're in their 20's. Better than commercial moisturizers however is the use of honey. It may seem an impractical idea but you can mix a little honey with something like primrose oil and you have the best moisturizer that can do wonders for every skin type. Why honey? Honey is one of the most gentle "antibiotics" too and it promotes skin healing. Ever wondered why troops now use "Honey plaster"? (Go google it and find out).Primrose Oil with honey also can stop other skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, pimples, and minimize facial scars. The best thing about this however, is that it gives one an instant face lift!

For sunburns, burns and discolorations, try Mosquesta Oil or Rose of Mosqueta. This happens to be one of my favorites. A friend who introduced me to Mosqueta oil is now 68 years old and she looks 40 without a single surgery. This also works for new or recent scars.

The next one is simple but great when the season is hot or humid. Wash your face and apply ice. Yes, simple ice. WHY? This makes the skin supple and promotes blood circulation during the warmer days. Notice how your facial skin tightens after about 15 minutes of the ice application "treatment". It also is one of the best and most natural skin toners.

During winter however, you'll find more need to moisturize and make sure that your face does not dry. The beat moisturizer is Olive Oil but always apply after you have washed your face. Olive Oil is a natural moisturizer that makes sure that your face doesn't wrinkle during the coldest months. Some may mix a few drops of lavender essence along with the Olive Oil to enjoy the "relaxing" scent. It also is perfect after using facial maskers making sure that your face glows and looks young because it does minimize those unsightly wrinkles.

Sure, what is essential is invisible to the eye, as Exupery says. But let us be pragmatic and accept that most people are naturally visual and do judge one by one's face and appearance. Besides, there is nothing wrong with being frugally vain is there?
